tbh I never really felt that until suicide squad with el diablo and then more recently with sombra in overwatch. it's so strange how long it can take for someone to really start thinking about their race

it’s something that really goes unnoticed sometimes bc you grow up with it and you’re used to it but you don’t realize how different your culture is and when you finally start to outwardly embrace it is just really great
