During their five year mission, the USS Enterprise comes across a Class L planet that is completely uninhabited. The planet seems to have abrupt and drastic changes in atmospheric pressure. Commander Spock, Lieutenant Sulu, and an away team beam down to investigate the cause of these changes in atmospheric pressure and to gauge the planet’s habitability. The away team is urged to keep their suits and helmets on, as it will prevent the uncomfortable side-effects of changing air pressure: headaches, joint pain, ear popping, etc. While exploring, the away team discovers the planet’s beautiful terrain, consisting of red foliage, clear skies, and abundant fresh water.
